My family and I traveled down south for a holiday some years back and boy was it hot. It makes me wonder how folks can tolerate that kind of heat when it is so intense compared to up north. While in the vehicle on the ride down I could suppose our comfort change with the temperature and our parents were always opponents of using the a/c installed in the car. Thankfully they have chosen comfort over gas mileage in their recent years and are no longer opposed to turning the cold air on in the car. Once the two of us arrived at our destination I was covered in sweat and concerned to get into the condominium the two of us had rented. The home was spacious and had two entryways, a entryway, entryway and a back patio with a view of a golf course sand trap. As much as I wanted to instantly begin seeing frustrated golfers struggle to clear their ball of the sand trap, I needed to cool off first. The cooling system equipment was already on and keeping the place cool prior to our arrival which was a relief. The cold was being pumped into all rooms with central air and at this point I was fairly certain this home was a step up from our family home. It was so hot outside I don’t suppose a fan, breeze, or shade would have been a sufficient way to achieve a comfortable and cool temperature. I am certain this trip would have been slightly less good had there not been an cooling system equipment in the living section the two of us had rented.
