My friends and I decided to take a camping trip over wintertime break. The winter months weather is never too cold here, so the average hot and cold temperatures are usually around 40 or 50 degrees. Nonetheless, just in case the weather was too cold, we decided to buy a space oil furnace for the tent! Some friends of ours went camping while I was in the last month, and their space heater honestly came in handy. They were going camping too, and commanded we look for a space heater on Craigslist. We searched the ads for a space heater, and we found hundreds of listings. Every one of us narrowed down the results, so we only saw ads for current or barely used space heaters. Every one of us found a gentleman selling brand new space oil furnaces at 74% off the retail price. We called him to ask a few questions, and he told us the amazing low prices. At first, I was hesitant to meet with the guy. The deal seemed really suspicious. We decided to meet at an outdoor storage center, so I felt safer. When the man opened his storage device door, I saw hundreds of brand new space heaters still in their boxes. The space oil furnace was really cheap, and I could not say no. As I drove away from the storage unit, I wondered if I had just obtained stolen property; I did not want to turn around and go back, so I took the space heater to the condo and threw away the box. I’d love to think the guy obtained a truck of space heaters legally at wholesale cost, and then re-sold them at rock bottom prices to the public.
